President, Suhey Rios
Suhey is a Los Angeles native who has been passionate about soccer since the age of nine. Immersed in the game from a young age, she developed a strong connection to the sport through playing and continued involvement in the local soccer community.
She began her coaching career in 2019, quickly establishing a passion for youth development and creating meaningful experiences for young athletes. Since then, she has dedicated herself to building an environment where players are encouraged to grow both on and off the field, developing confidence, discipline, and a strong love for the game. She currently serves as the President and Head Coach of the U15 Girls team, where she focuses on player development, team culture, and creating a competitive yet supportive environment.
As both a coach and a parent with a child in the sport, she brings a personal understanding of the youth soccer experience. Her leadership is centered on fostering bonds, building a welcoming community for all walks of life, and creating a club culture where every player feels supported, valued, and challenged to reach their full potential.
Technical Director, Mario Sustaita
Mario is a Pasadena native who serves as the Technical Director and Recreational Program Director for Prime LA FC, overseeing player development, program structure, and day-to-day operations across the club. With more than seven years of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for the game, he brings strong leadership, mentorship, and dedication to creating a positive experience for every athlete. Having played soccer since the age of six, he understands the game from both the player’s and coach’s perspective.
In addition to his leadership roles with Prime LA FC, Mario currently serves as Head Coach at Pasadena High School and as the U17 Coed Head Coach for the club. As a founding member of Prime LA FC, he has played an important role in building a culture centered around growth, discipline, opportunity, and community. His coaching philosophy focuses on helping players develop confidence, teamwork, character, and a lasting love for the game while creating a safe, competitive, and supportive environment for athletes and their families.
Girls U15 Program Director, Mackenzie Felix
Mackenzie serves as the U15 Girls Program Coordinator for Prime LA FC, supporting player development, team culture, scheduling, and day-to-day program operations across the club. With more than 25 years of playing experience, she continues to actively play in adult leagues and brings a lifelong passion for the game to her work with athletes. Her youth soccer experience includes coaching and mentorship through AYSO and Prime LA FC, where she focuses on creating an environment that balances competitiveness, accountability, confidence, and enjoyment of the game. In addition to her soccer experience, Mackenzie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection Administration and Technology, bringing strong organizational, leadership, and safety-focused skills to her role within the club.
Recruitment Coordinator, Meli Estepa
Meli is a dedicated recruiter and passionate soccer enthusiast who combines leadership, mentorship, and talent development to help individuals reach their full potential both on and off the field. With a specialized background in social skills development and mentoring, Meli has built a career centered on guiding people toward personal growth, teamwork, confidence, and success.
Through years of experience in recruitment and coaching, Meli has developed strong communication and motivational skills, creating positive environments where individuals can thrive. As a mentor, Meli is committed to inspiring discipline, leadership, and resilience while helping others build meaningful life and career paths.
Driven by a passion for people and community development, Meli continues to make a lasting impact through coaching, mentoring, and professional guidance, with a strong focus on creating a safe, supportive, and healthy environment for kids and their families.
